Passport Around The World
This week we are on vacation and touring the World. We have our passports and we are heading for places like Scotland, Africa, Guam and much more. We will learn about children and customs from other counties, have some guest speakers and cook some of ethnic foods.

Laurel Week
We will participate in the Laurel Week festivities, take a Brookville History Tour of the Town. We will also have a special guest speaker to talk to us about the work that goes into planning this event.
23 - 27 June 2008
Outer Space Week
We will learn about space, our solar system, recreate a solar system and learn how hard it is to become an astronaut and touch base on the constellations.

Under The Sea
Open to campers 3 to 5 years old space is limited! Call the Y to register crafts, games, snacks, stories, and songs all related to the theme. Cost $35.00 summer camp by Miss Bobbi from PAL Nursery School.

Patriotic Week
We will learn about past 4th of July’s, prepare for our own 4th of July festivities, learn about fire works, and how they were invented.
7 - 11 July 2008
Dinosaur Week
We will be learning about Dinosaurs. We will have our own archaeological dig for fossils and create our own T-Rex.
14-18 July 2008
Nature Week
We will have the DCNR visiting to teach us about nature, we will be taking a lot of hikes, learning how to use a compass and pitch a tent. We will be collecting bugs and classifying them too.

Christmas In July
We will be learning the history of Christmas, and learning what other countries do at Christmas. We will be Singing Christmas Carols, and visit a choir practice.
28 July—1 August 2008
Sports Camp
Lots of Fun in this one! We will learn Basketball Skills, Volleyball Skills, Golfing Skills, Yoga, and lots of other fun sports. We will have Coaches from the school coming into help with these camps.
4-8 August 2008
Dance Camp
We will be learning basic dance moves in various types of dance such as Hip Hop, Tap, Line Dancing, and Ballroom. We have a certified instructor coming in from out of town to teach this camp.

Ocean Week
This week will learn about animals that live in the ocean, how to keep our oceans clean, and have a beach party with limbo and water guns.
18-22 August 2008
Newspaper Week
This is a busy week we will be wrapping up our summer and putting down the details in our own Newspaper. We will be taking lots of pictures, interviewing community members, writing our own columns, and publishing or our own YMCA Summer Fun News.
